Mrs. Denise Phillips

     Norm Tanaka, whose daughter is a student at JosephSimsElementary School, wrote to us with great enthusiasm about Mrs. Denise Phillips.  He says that "...[Mrs. Denise Philips] is a bubbly fifth grade teacher... one of the best I have ever met.  My daughter is enjoying school so
much because of her! 
     Mrs. Phillips magically inspires her students to learn, helping them to acquire such essential skills as reading, math, and writing, to believe in themselves and to lead students to become passionate life long learners.  Mrs. Phillips easily embraces challenges of each student and provides endless opportunities to try new approaches to learning.  She ensures that students are willing to take risks and grow with each new experience.
